Meet Chad Grandon

Brain Tumor Survivor | Endurance Athlete | Former Educator

I'm a husband, father, endurance athlete, educator, and speaker who believes growth happens when we lean into challenges instead of avoiding them.

For nearly 20 years, I served students, families, and communities in education as both a teacher and school leader. Throughout that journey, I learned that success is built on resilience, accountability, consistency, and the willingness to keep showing up when things get difficult.

In 2016, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, a life changing experience that reshaped my perspective on adversity, leadership, and purpose. It reinforced a belief that continues to guide me today: we don't always choose our struggles, but we do choose how we respond to them.

Since then, I've challenged myself through marathons, ultramarathons, and endurance events that continually remind me that growth lives on the other side of discomfort.

Today, I speak to students, educators, athletes, and professionals about resilience, leadership, and learning to Suffer Better so we can Win the Day.

Because success isn't built in one defining moment—it's built one day at a time.

Win the Day.

Why choose Chad?

Win the Day is built on a simple belief: success isn't created in a single moment—it is earned through small decisions made consistently over time.

Life will bring challenges, setbacks, and adversity. We don't control every circumstance, but we always control how we respond. Every day presents an opportunity to take one step forward, embrace discomfort, and become a little stronger than we were yesterday.

Winning the day doesn't require perfection. It requires effort, discipline, and a commitment to doing what needs to be done, especially when it's difficult.

For me, this philosophy was forged through surviving a brain tumor, endurance athletics, and nearly two decades of leadership in education. The lesson has always been the same: when we learn to suffer better, we develop the resilience, character, and confidence needed to overcome whatever stands in our way.

Focus on today. Do the work. Keep moving forward.

Win the Day. Repeat tomorrow.
